Kristy Dolha

Contributing Writer

I am a woman that enjoys wearing many hats.

I am a mother of 2, and have enjoyed working with youth in some kind of guidance or mentorship role for the last 10 years. I am a certified high school teacher, specializing in English and Career Planning, but that does not even begin to describe my experience. I've worked with young people in every capacity from teaching children how to cope with AD/HD to acting as a career counsellor for 30 year old post-secondary graduates.

In a word, working with youth is energizing. There is always a steep learning curve, and it is always rewarding. As a freelance writer, I am passionate about sharing what I've learned and helping young people and parents continue on this most exciting journey.

You can learn more about me on my personal blog where the motto is: "It's not advice, it's just my life." Pop over and visit Life - Inspired by the Wee Man; join the conversation, and get inspired by life!
